MCC DONATIONS

Checks may be made out to "Mountain Community Chorus, Inc." and may be mailed to: MCC Treasurer, PO Box 874, Young Harris, GA 30582. 

MCC IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE

Mountain Community Chorus, Inc. is chartered by the State of Georgia (2008) as a domestic non-profit corporation and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under paragraph 501(c)(3). (2009) of the Federal Tax Code. Accordingly, donations to the MCC are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

WAYS TO SUPPORT MCC

1. YHC SCHOLARSHIPS: MCC provides two scholarships by audition to Young Harris College Music and Music Education students who maintain a high grade point average and who participate in MCC.

2. DYNAMIC DONORS: The Chorus is supported by Annual dues from Chorus members and by donations from you. We cannot operate without your gifts. Our “Dynamic Donors” Program consists of the following donor levels:

Fortissimo (ff): $1000 +

Forte (f): $500 - $999

Mezzo Forte (mf): $100 - $499

Mezzo Piano (mp): $50 -$99

Piano (p): $25-$49

Pianissimo (pp): up to $24

All Dynamic Donors will be gratefully recognized in our programs.

3. SPONSOR A SONG: Specific to an MCC concert, you may choose to "SPONSOR A SONG," perhaps in honor or in memory of someone special to you. Your gift would finance the purchase of a piece of music (selected and approved by the Director) and other required costs such as instrumentalists. The average cost of a standard choral number is about $125.00; a major work averages $500.00.

 Interested patrons should contact the Director or President regarding the sponsorship program. Again, sponsoring funds are tax-deductible and will be gratefully acknowledged in the concert program.
